On the opposite of the beautiful reputed Museum of Modern Arts in Antwerp, situated in a magnificent old grain storage space, is a rusted steel wall. One side of the wall is ‘stuffed’ with small entrance stickers, enthusiastically put there by visitors, ending their visit at the museum. The other side is a stunning display of goldish rusted colors and wild white graffiti forms. Both are almost magnificent pieces of art. The only difference is that they were never meant to be an artwork. They were created by anarchy and by the test of time. Makes one question: maybe that is just why this piece of art should get its spot in the opposite located grain storage space.
The people of M HKA and we thought the same and started this small collab the make the first steps.
