A few years ago in Jodhpur India. A street view, shot from within a room through a wooden shutter. The tiny straws of the shutter distorted the view, turning the street action almost into a poetic painting. Some of the women in the picture are young caring mothers bringing their loving children to a nearby school.

This vibrant pink room caught our eye. It was shot in Jodhpur, also known as… The Blue City (?). Strangely enough the ‘next door big city’ is Jaipur, on its turn called the Pink City. A homesick expat from Jaipur? Someone with a crush on pink or just someone who ran out of blue paint?
